The umbrella canopy is made of 100% 190 thread count Pongee (the finest quality polyester material available) with a waterproof coating. The strong fiberglass ribs provide wind resistance and the rubberized handle provides a comfortable grip.

The shaft is made of a brawny wide-gauge steel with a black rust-resistant coating and features an automatic opening mechanism. Because of this strength and durability, the umbrella can also be used as a walking stick. It opens to a full 48″ arc.
